Learning patience is a whole new lesson for yourself if you haven’t got it. When times are slow like this, patience is a virtue.

In the go-go times about a decade ago, everything seemed to move fast. Deals were made quicker, money was more available to go buy things that offered quick solutions and people were less cautious.

Now things are different with economic the economic times largely brought on by total corruption, absolute misrule and heinous ideologies.

Caution needs to prevail.

People are trying to unsavoury tactics to get money from other people.

This is a giant red flag.

Those who were seemingly “honest” and “trustworthy”, are showing their true colours. No need for specifics here but everyone will recognise something like this occurring more regularly.

Those who were seemingly trustworthy are now stooping to such lows that it’s critical to guard and protect yourself and your interests.

Sometimes it’s important to get hold of a professional like a lawyer and stop them in their tracks.

It’s also important to have trusted associates and a few friends who you can bounce things off with.

But ultimately it’s important to be patient and not rush into things. When you are calm, you are able to see through things more easily.

All this is really about self control. What are the things in your life that you need to control? What are the things in your life that you need to shatter and get rid of?

Think of things today that you can better control whatever they are. It may be something in your surroundings. It could be your spending habits. It may be the kind of people you’re attracting in your life.

Possessing control over yourself is powerful.

Yet be patient with yourself – this is the best form of control you can have.
