It seems that the internet is full of people telling you how you can make easy money.
It reminds me of the song by Ricky Lee Jones, “Easy Money”:
They flipped a dime
One said “Well, I’ll take heads this time”
One stepped up
One stepped back
One loosened her shoulder strap
She couldn’t speak
Her knees got weak
She could almost taste that easy money
I don’t know about you, but I’m suspicious of these offers about easy money.
Yes, there are a lot of promises about making easy money on the internet, emails that pop into your mailbox, or spam or junk mail telling you so.
The problem is, there doesn’t seem to be such a thing as easy money.
Of course, some people may be lucky and find a way out to make easy money.
But for the rest of us, it’s not easy.
Making money requires planning, diligence, and an offer. That item, an offer, is important. Because if you don’t have anything to sell, then what are you doing?
Your offer needs to be attractive in a number of ways, mostly to offer someone some value. Whether it’s a solution, a better way of working, or even entertainment.
Another thing is that you see many internet offers and email offers telling you how you can make easy money. But if you look at those offers, you’ll find it’s about improving or increasing your marketing.
It’s absolutely important to reach people with your offer. But if you don’t have an offer, then it doesn’t matter who you reach.

This video shows you how to do it. Now you may think there are a lot of those types of videos around. Of course, there are. But this one is a genuine and sincere attempt to show you how. It was recorded in one shot. No splicing of videos, nothing like that. Spontaneous communication.
That’s part of the offer I make for you to watch that video. I’m not saying it’s going to help you make easy money. But it will help with your marketing messages.
But as I said, you need to have something to offer. Perhaps you have several offers. Then make sure that you know how to present those offers and the key features and benefits.
Your offer will need to stand out against many other offers. So make sure that you differentiate your offer.
As I said, there’s no easy way to make money unless you’re lucky or buy a lottery ticket and get the lucky number.
For the rest of us, it’s hard work. Sometimes excruciatingly hard work. Another singer had a song about money and chicks for free. The song seems a bit sexist these days. But I think he was taking a dig at the lifestyle of instant music stars.
Forget easy money if you want to make real money. Making real money and making it regularly requires a genuine and effective product or service.
