Radio jocks shout, ‘get your brand out there’. It’s advertising. The radio stations advertising department tells them to do this. Marketers who do marketing for small and large companies also say ‘get your brand out there’. It rolls off their tongues. I suppose a few years ago it sounded new, but it’s got tired and hackneyed. Do you know what it means? Well, I don’t. So I did a bit of digging. All it means is advertising your product or service. Don’t buckle over with laughter. Many people make things sound more fancy than they are. Politicians for instance, but let’s not go there, that’s a bleak area to discuss. Agreed. Let’s focus on getting your brand out there. Here are a couple of pointers.
Get Your Brand Out There
Getting your brand out there is vital. You need to be seen. You need to be heard. The world must know you exist.
First, define your brand. Know what you stand for. Be clear. Be simple.
Next, choose your platform. Radio, TV, online. Each has its power. Use them wisely.
Create a message. Keep it short. Keep it strong. Speak to your audience. Make them listen. Make them care.
Be consistent. Your brand should be the same everywhere. People should recognize it instantly.
Engage with your audience. Respond to them. Show them you care. Build a community.
Measure your success. Use tools to track your reach. See what works. See what doesn’t. Adapt and improve.
Stay persistent. Keep pushing your brand. Don’t stop. The more you push, the more you grow.
