Are you worried about your future? Or, are you living a care-free life with no financial worries? If so, you will only waste your time reading any further. However, if you see what’s happening in these hard economic times and want to do something about it, then what you read next could mean the difference between increasing hardship or taking control of your life and your income.

What’s the best advice someone ever gave you? Did your mother tell you to avoid bad friends that were leading you astray into excessive alcohol and drugs? Was it your medical doctor who told you to stop smoking before you suffered a heart attack? Did a wise, older family members encourage you to start saving toward your own property?

When we hear advice like this we may get angry, tell the other person to mind their own business or we might stop to think. Maybe you listened. Maybe you didn’t. Perhaps you are grateful today that you did listen… and acted before it was too late. Yet maybe you are still living a life filled with regret, wishing you had listened to well-meaning people close to you who had your best interests at heart.

I doubt many people have encouraged you to create and build an asset for yourself and own hundred percent of it. Has anyone? Why would they, you might ask? It sounds so obvious. But try think how many people you know who have done just that. None? Think some more. There must be someone you know. So, you can think of someone? How do they live their lives? Are they worried all the time about money? Or, do they seem confident that they’ll sail through the present rough times?

Felix Dennis, the self-made UK entrepreneur and millionaire put it this way: “Ownership is not the most important thing. It is the only thing.” If you have created an income-producing asset for yourself… something very few do or even think about… You have something of value that you can own for the rest of your life. It will produce income for you day after day, month after month, year after year.

But listen up: nothing can beat owning your own products or service, income-generating property or small business. However, you must fight tooth and claw for every single percentage point of anything you own. “Never, never, never, never hand over a single share of anything you have acquired created if you can help it. Nothing. Not one share. To no one. No matter what the reason – unless you genuinely have to,” says Dennis.

I thought I was alone. No one seems to be saying this message anymore. The best advice I have received… told to me long ago by a crusty old lawyer friend of my father… is to build your own product. Own your own asset. Then when the Wolves come and try to tear your house down you will withstand the greed and guard against chill economic winds.

Building your own product may seem so remote right now that all this may sound unbelievable to you. Too good to be true. If it doesn’t make sense to you or you don’t have the inclination or aptitude to try, then just forget it. No one will think lesser of you. It can be your little secret. You gave it some thought but it’s not for you. That’s okay. It isn’t for 95 to 97% of people.

If you are interested in discovering how you could create something of your own, then you can start with a step-by-step guide that will show you how. A reputable marketing firm on the Internet is selling an information product for $3000 to make and sell a product. Here you can get help for $30… with just as much value… to turn your ideas into products that will make you money. That’s all you will need to invest in yourself. If you can’t afford to invest this amount, how serious are you about your future? Will you go on worrying but still do nothing? Go here to get an outline of the chapters to help you make your decision.
